Why Rest Feels Uncomfortable To So Many People

Rest often feels uncomfortable not because we are lazy, but because many of us were conditioned to measure our worth through constant effort.

Many people feel uneasy when they rest, even after working hard.Psychologically, this isn’t #laziness. It’s #conditioning.

If your worth has been repeatedly linked to productivity, your brain learns one rule:
No WORK = no VALUE.

So when you rest, guilt appears. Not because #rest is wrong, but because your mind was trained to equate effort with safety and approval.

📍INSIGHT📍Feeling guilty while resting doesn’t mean you’re irresponsible. It means your #nervous system hasn’t learned that #rest is allowed.
